What to Expect

Northern Lights Hearing Centres Inc is a full service provider of audiological hearing services that include hearing testing and hearing aids. We are focused on providing hearing healthcare through Northern and Central Manitoba and Indigenous communities throughout the entire province.

Our team of hearing healthcare professionals include fully registered Doctor’s of Audiology, board certified Hearing Instrument Specialists and our dedicated administrative team.

Northern lights hearing centres provides free hearing assessments that include a full range of diagnostic procedures. First, we conduct otoscopic examinations to ensure there is no wax build up or abnormalities in the ear canal. Next, our fully licensed hearing healthcare providers will then conduct an audiometric assessment to determine your hearing levels. At this point, any abnormalities or irregularities may be referred to either a general physician or an Otolaryngologist (ENT). If required, our clinical team will then outline the styles of hearing aids that are best suited to improving your hearing healthcare and your quality of life. Hearing aids are available with a 90-day trial period to ensure your complete satisfaction with your new hearing aids.

We will explain all of the different private insurance coverage’s and all third party government options to help with cost of hearing aids including the Non-Insured Health Benefit program (NIHB), the Worker Compensation Boards (WCB) in Manitoba and throughout Canada, the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Royal Canadian Mountain Police (RCMP) as well as Income and Economic Security.
